Who Says Crime Doesn't Pay?!

So, Ms Heather and I long ago decided that our lives, are pretty much the same. Except for the I'm living in Deutschland at the moment and she's in Tennessee thing. We're both from Indiana. Photographers. Moms. In general, our lives mimic each other, even though we've never met.

She decided to steal this idea and since we're theoretically the same person, I stole it from her.

Day 1: Introduction

If I were to introduce myself to you in person, I would probably refer to myself as "SSgt Longlastname's wife". Not because I want you to know my husband's rank. Not because I like being known as "Mrs Longlastname", but because in my world when I introduce myself, people always ask who your spouse is.

My real name? It's Sara. Sara-no-h. It still bothers me that people put an H at the end of my name. Mostly, because everyone knows there are two very popular spellings of Sara(h), and it's not difficult to ask which kind I am.

I am an almost 28 year old work at home mom. I have 2 daughters who were born 14 1/2 months apart. Along with the Zs, I have 4 other children in my home between 0630 and 1700 Monday through Friday. I operate a Family Childcare Home, which means I get paid to build with Legos and read books all day. It's a pretty sweet gig I've got going.

I think the only other important thing for you to know is that I am extremely opinionated and very passive aggressive. I have approximately no filter for things that should only be said to one's self, and even then should not be said out loud. I say them anyway.

And that's me, in a nutshell...

3 Thoughts on This:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that you are doing this with me! Double the pleasure, double the fun.

:)

And yeah, we're totally in sync. Especially with that whole "passive-aggressive" thing. I like to think of it as "Complete and utter honesty. A refreshing change in this world."

Oh hey...um. I like thievery a little bit myself...so I'll think about stealing this one from you too. Mayhaps it will help me get into the habit of writing everyday.

And I like you in a nutshell. What's funny is that I actually picture you in a nutshell. Walnut. With a little pink fairy dress and wings. And angry eyes, because I put you there. :-D

You didn't mention your OCD thing. Or your love of my cats. Or your very funny laugh. Or your nakedness in my world. [Teehee.]

I like this thing you are doing. To write well, you must write!

Good job!
