What Aunt Becky wants, Aunt Becky Gets...

Becky posted about her crazy injuries this past week, and wanted to know if any of her readers injury themselves in ways that are "unconventional" to say the least. I do not remember a time I have been injured that HASN'T been "unconventional". Recently, I gave myself a slight concussion while cooking dinner. Becky wants to know exactly how one does this.

You would think this would be a great story. Making for awesome blog fodder. I mean, I was doing an everyday chore and ended up with a slight concussion. Unfortunately, my crazy injuries don't EVER have a good story behind them.
I gave myself the concussion by putting the pepper back into the spice cabinet, turning to stir a pot on the stove and hitting my forehead on the corner of the vent hood. I ran into it so hard I literally took a step backward and felt as though I would pass out. There was blood.
How I wish this story was more exciting than it actually is. Instead, I get to say "Hi, my name is Sara, and I'm a klutz."
In my defense, because I am taller than the average female, things like cabinet doors and vent hoods on stoves are just outside my peripheral vision. So, you know, out of sight, out of mind...

My klutz injury stories are never very good either. I do stuff like banging my head on cabinets all the time and they just seem par for the course around here. My husband has even stopped reacting! He's given up trying to teach me to be not so clumsy!

You need to make up a good story, girl. My stories all suck too. So you and I, we need to come up with better stories, TOGETHER.
